Alerts Overview

When BiG EVAL detects data quality issues or testcases fail, it can send you eMail alerts to developers, data stewards or any other eMail-recipient.

Creating an Alert

  1. Open “Alerts” in the main navigation of BiG EVAL.
  2. Click “Create Alert” to add a new alert.
  3. Setup the alert as needed.
    1. Name
    2. Description
    3. Trigger register: As the eMail alerts are using the same Trigger concept like the integrations feature of BiG EVAL, you can read about setting the triggers within the integrations section. See Trigger Events
    4. Email register: See Alert Email Templates
  4. Click “Save Alert”.
